With over 500 entrants to the competition this has taken a lot longer to judge than anticipated, with some excellent entries making the final decisions all the more difficult. The genres ranged from techno, ambient house and everything in between. The strongest contingent by far however were the drum and bass remixes. Thank you for all who took part in making this a successful competition and congratulations to the 3 finalists.

2nd Place: DJ Delphi
DJ Name:
DJ Delphi
Remix Title: Delphis' Follow Me Mix
BIO:
As a drummer from an early age, my interest in drum and bass production
began in the late 1990's.
Now 22, I often DJ and enjoy producing a range of urban influenced music.
Genre of Track: Drum and Bass
Inspiration for this remix:
Although I produce d&b, I listen to all different styles. So when I heard
the original Big Big Disgrace I was really inspired by the cinematic strings and
strong lyrical message it had. In the remix, I wanted to emphasize these
elements and merge them with a quite dance floor drum and bass sound.
BPM: 174
Length of track:
5.19 mins
Why did you
enter this competition: With production I like to change between working on
different styles quite a lot. I think this can help to bring in different
influences on my d&b work. As I mentioned in the guest book, the Glideascope
sound was new to me and instantly I thought of ideas to try for the remix. I
also hoped it would help to gain some recognition, so a huge thank you to all
who judged!

Any dance/club genre (house, drum and bass, breaks) greater than 110bpm but the competition is open to all genres.
Can I hear an example?
Big Big Disgrace (Digital Leprechaun Remix)
Would you prefer if we include the vocals or the instruments?
If possible I would prefer if you include some elements of the instruments or vocals, but that could be one phrase or one bar as long as it keeps the spirit of the original and is identifiable as a remix of 'Big Big Disgrace' and not just another original track.
An instrumental has just as much chance as a 'vocal' version, originality is the key.

No limit, as many remixes as you can submit before the deadline.
