Glideascope - win an iPod Nano and a copy of Glideascope's Audio Cinematography!

Glideascope wants to see what his fans can do artistically with one of his songs and would like to announce the “Hartronica: Director's Cut” contest.  Fans will be given the opportunity to create original video footage to accompany Glideascope's song, “Hartronica.”  

 

 

-Glideascope has cut his song “Hartronica” into 6 different sections of about 55 seconds. The song clips have been made available to stream exclusively on Glideascope’s Last.fm page: http://www.last.fm/music/Glideascope/Hartronica+-+Director's+Cut+(Video+Competition)

-Fans will have the opportunity to create original video footage for one of the song's sections. There will essentially be 6 different mini music videos that collectively make a full music video for the song.    

-Each participant has the freedom to create whatever they would like for their section; the differences in each individual video are what will make this a very compelling artistic piece. Feel free to use your mobile phone, camcorder, professional level camera, etc; there are no boundaries technologically on what you can and cannot use to create this footage.  But this footage must be original content and owned by the contestant.

-Glideascope will then allow you, your friends and fans, to vote for the video clip that you enjoy the most. All voting will take place on Glideascope's Facebook fan page once the Final Cut is completed: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Glideascope/117500890942

*As submissions are received, Glideascope will be posting “rough cuts” on his YouTube channel to showcase submissions. This will give other contestants an idea what they are up against, as well as show the progress of the contest throughout its different stages.

*The Final Cut (featuring the top video from each section) will be announced on February 15. Each contestant who makes The Final Cut will receive a free copy of Glideascope's “Audio Cinematography.” Voting will start February 15 and will last until March 01. The winner will be announced on March 15 2010.

-Once voting ends, the single video clip from The Final Cut with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner.

                     

-After the contest, The Final Cut will become a featured mainstay on Glideascope’s YouTube channel, receiving thousands of views:  --> http://www.youtube.com/glideascope

Resolution: Ideally 720p format - 1280x720 (HD)

Length: no longer than 55 seconds
